It Started with a Hope to Help Children Grow

Makna Bali began from a shared hope to create a space where children can learn, dream, and feel supported. Many children in Bali still face barriers to education and safe environments that nurture their growth. From that awareness, Makna Bali grew into a community built on empathy — a place where learning is guided by care, and giving becomes a way to grow together.
A wonderful serenity has taken possession of my entire soul, like these sweet mornings of spring which I enjoy with my whole heart. I am alone, and feel the charm of existence in this spot

1. Satu Makna — Education for Every Child

Satu Makna is an interactive learning program that brings joyful and meaningful education to children in Bali’s foundations. Through reading, writing, and basic English lessons, volunteers and children learn side by side, creating moments of connection where learning becomes an act of love and purpose.

2. Satu Aksi — Empowering Dreams

Satu Aksi helps children discover their potential through creative workshops, mentorship, and storytelling. This program empowers confidence and imagination while bringing together youth volunteers who believe that change begins with compassion.

3. Digital Advocacy — Raising Voices, Building Awareness

Makna Bali tells real stories to inspire real action. Through social media and digital storytelling, we amplify the voices of Bali’s children, turning empathy into impact and awareness into collective movement.
